Legal
Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of Komuvo by estate organisations, administrators, residents, guards, and other authorised users.
Last updated: 21 July 2026
1. The service
Komuvo by Scalefort provides community-management tools for resident administration, visitor access, security operations, maintenance, wallets, payments, transformer assignments, and electricity services. Available features depend on the estate's subscription and configuration.
2. Accounts and authorised use
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use Komuvo only for lawful estate activities. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
Estate administrators control user access within their estate. We may suspend access where necessary to protect users, the platform, or comply with legal obligations.
3. Estate responsibilities
- Obtain the authority and notices required to submit resident, visitor, employee, and property information.
- Assign appropriate roles and promptly remove access that is no longer required.
- Review transformer rates, visitor rules, payment settings, and operational records for accuracy.
4. Payments and electricity
Payment processing may be provided by third-party financial providers. Transaction status shown by the authoritative provider and Komuvo records determines whether a payment, withdrawal, refund, or purchase is complete.
Electricity rates and transformer assignments are maintained by the estate. Users should verify meter details before purchasing electricity. Completed vending transactions cannot always be reversed.
5. Acceptable use
You may not attempt to bypass access controls, disrupt the service, introduce malicious code, misuse another person's information, reverse engineer protected portions of the platform, or use Komuvo for fraud or unlawful surveillance.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Komuvo available and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance, change features, or discontinue functionality with reasonable notice where practicable.
7. Intellectual property
Komuvo, its software, branding, and documentation belong to Scalefort or its licensors. Customers retain ownership of their submitted data and grant us the limited rights required to host, process, protect, and deliver the service.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Scalefort is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate estate-controlled data, third-party provider failures, or unauthorised use resulting from compromised credentials. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Termination
You or the estate may stop using Komuvo. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security risk, non-payment, or legal necessity. Provisions intended to survive termination, including payment, intellectual-property, and liability provisions, remain effective.
